Dansens Hus is a centre for contemporary dance, a self-governing institution under the Danish Ministry of Culture.
It houses activities oriented towards professional dancers: activities such as the administration of dance projects, national touring, the introduction of dance to children and youngsters, talent development, a workshop stage, and The Danish Dance Information Centre.
Furthermore, Dansens Hus provides daily classes in contemporary dance and ballet for professional dancers, and it administers the rehearsal space in six studios for dance performances.
